Registration fee
Prior to your child joining us at Playdays, we ask for a non-refundable £20 registration fee to cover the adminstration costs linked to the set up of your child at our Preschool.
Fully funded places
At Playdays, we are pleased to offer funded childcare places for children aged 2–4 years. The funding options available are outlined below:
This funding is available for families receiving Universal Credit or those on a low income. To qualify, parents/carers must provide proof of eligibility through a confirmation letter from the London Borough of Sutton.
Funding becomes available from the term after your child turns 2 years old.
All children are eligible for 15 hours of free early education funding from the term after they turn 3 years old, regardless of family income or employment status.
This funding is available to eligible working families who meet the Government’s earnings criteria. Parents/carers must apply for a unique eligibility code through the Government’s “Best Start in Life” childcare portal.
Please note:

Families who are not eligible for funded childcare are welcome to attend Playdays as fee-paying families. Our current fee is £8.00 per hour, payable each half term.
Please note that late payments may incur an additional £20.00 late payment fee.
Fees are reviewed regularly and may increase in line with rising business costs and preschool outgoings.
Each half term, we invite families to make a voluntary contribution of £10.00 towards consumables and enrichment activities.
These contributions help us provide experiences beyond our standard provision, including:
Religious and cultural celebration events
Cooking activities
Opportunities for children to explore a variety of new foods and flavours
The contribution also supports the purchase of essential items such as:
Wet wipes
Nappies
Sun cream
Tissues
This contribution is entirely voluntary, and families may choose whether or not to participate.
If a child is not collected by 3:00pm, our primary concern is always the wellbeing and emotional comfort of the child.
As a pack-away setting, we are required to vacate the premises promptly to allow access for other users. If you expect to arrive late, please contact us as soon as possible.
A late collection charge of £20.00 will apply after the first 15 minutes, with additional charges incurred for every subsequent 15-minute period.
Please note: If your child has not been collected by 4:00pm, and we are unable to contact either you or your emergency contacts, we will be required to contact Children’s First Contact Services.
